Ciao I'm an Italian player looking for an opponent. I prefer Axis, but I can play Allies. As I like historical situations, I propose some House Rules to make the game more historical. Of course we can discuss them and decide what fits to and what does not. ciao! HOUSE RULES GERMANY: can send max 1/2 of her dive bombers per turn against Allied ships in North Sea, if she does not control either Oslo or Narvik. After Germany controls at least 1 of Oslo/Narvick, she can send bombers in North Sea without any limitations. Can’t attack Denmarck before January 1940. Can’t attack Jugoslavia before Hungary joins Tripartite Pact or February 1941. Can’t attack Netherlands before March 1940. A Declaration of war vs Netherlands must be done simultaneously with a Declaration Of War vs Belgium and Luxembourg. GARRISONS: Axis must take some infantry units to garrison some areas: 5 in Poland in 1939 10 in Poland (1 must be armor) in 1940 20 in Poland (1 must be armor) in 1941 If Germany maintains the required garrison in Poland, USSR cant attack Axis powers and their ally before January 1, 1942 10 in France after Vichy France (1 must be armor) 5 in Norway 5 in Yugoslavia 5 in Greece Additionaly no more than 5 Infantry Divisions (not corps) can be in Finland before Barbarossa (only if Axis controls Narvik). Once at war with USSR and if Axis controls Narvik, the number can be increased up to 30 Infantry divisions (1 corp counts for 3 divisions). The limit can be ignored if Leningrad is Axis controlled. However, Axis and USSR have to honor the Molotov-Ribentrop agreement for at least 1 year after the fall of Poland: Germany cant launch Barbarossa before May 1 1941 and USSR cannot declare war on Axis Powers and their allies included neutrals (except for Finnish winter war) SEA LION. As soon as Axis conquers 2 cities in Great Britain (whatever 2, London counts as 1), USSR can attack Axis powers, regardless of garrison limit, but not before 1 year after the fall of Poland (48 turns) AFRIKA KORPS Germany can send Afrika Korps as soon as Tobruk or another city in North Africa is at risk of falling in British hands (or if Italy has surrendered). Risk of falling means that the city got English troops in any adiacent hex or has been cuted off from the rest of Lybia. Afrika Korps is constituted by 9 divisions (3 corps), but a maximum of 3 divisions can be tank. The DAK unit triggered by event does not count against this such a limit. Air and naval units can be sent without any limits. When US enters the war, Germany can send ground units in Afrika without such a limit. USA & USSR USA will not lend PP's to any major power until the fall of France or if the US enters the war. USA will not lend any PP's to USSR until USSR and Axis are at war. We make the USSR do all the land grabs when the events occur. USSR can’t declare war on Western Allies and Western Allies can’t declare war on USSR. ALL COUNTRIES: Max 1 paratrooper every 5 tanks divisions. Again 1 tank corp counts for 3 tank divisions. So if u want to deploy 2 para divisions, you need i.e. 3 tank corps plus 1 tank divisions or 10 tank divisions. When a friendly neutral reaches 50% alliance entry, it can be switched from AI to HUMAN controlled. AI for air strikes modified in order to make it more effective and less costly. There’s a sort of bug in the game: every air strike goes on column 1 (in red), causing a loss of 1 strenght point (16PP) per bomber which is unfair.
