This is the first time I've got this error. I clicked on one of the research tabs in a normal manner and then I got an error loop and had to terminate the program. In the picture you can also see that the research menu is a bit garbled. I'll post again if I can reproduce it.

Hi caerr

Do you have any other applications running on your PC? This error could be caused by Distant Worlds using too much graphics resources when drawing the research screen, but we did test this pretty carefully. I think more likely some other application is using up all the available GDI graphics memory, leaving none for DW.

Can you also please post a DxDiag report for your PC?

Oh, I forgot about that. It was 3am when I stopped playing.

I didn't have anything graphically intensive on at the time, but I did alt-tab to messenger conversations regularly and may have had a browser running. I also added some more music to the music folder, but didn't make any other modifications to the game.

I'd recommend closing all other applications while running DW. Web browsers especially can use a lot of resources.

If you still get this problem when running DW without any other applications, then please repost this issue.
