Sorry for lack of Human upload as I promised, the new Naxx are going very quick. When I actually like the ships I'm making it goes much, much faster So, it will be a double update again, Human and Naxx, probably tomorrow

This is the longest ever without an update since I started the mod

New Naxx Frigate and an Escort:

Blame the latest Blood Bowl patch, which allows you to now, finally play multiplayer without cheaters every other match

These really look good.

A lovely ship set. I installed it yesterday and was a bit apprehensive about the human ships (I did enjoy the original cruiser), but after playing today I did completely enjoy them.

I found a ugnari refugee fleet, and the cruiser was so sweet it was almost sad to retire it for tech once I had a huge enough shipyard to create a decent replacement on my own.

Hey Bing!  Glad you enjoy.  The Humans were one of the first sets I made, before I really knew what I was doing   The next update, available sometime in next 24hrs includes a Naxxilian set but also a complete new replacement for the Humans (including much better spaceports).  So you will have the choice between two Human sets

Looking good, WoodMan.

You know something, it's amazing how much time I must have spent sorting out flashing light bugs. Imagine how much quicker it would be if the game were more strict with level of yellow pixels. I don't think everyone can fully imagine just how much time you and I have put into sorting these things out.

Understandable if you ask me. I've always been interested in Blood Bowl but never got into it. Too much other games to play already!

The new Naxx ships look excellent!
BTW. Suggestion for Shandars: If you've played Gratuituos space battle, you know the Tribe from it. Make Shandar somewhat similar with round shapes and color them orange/grey/white. That's how I've always pictured Shandar ships. Just a suggestion though, so no pressure.

Woodman come join Orca Cola and play in the Middenheim Open, quality league now and I'm getting matches spinning the coin no problem so far.
Plus we police it so in my huge sample size of 3 games everyone was really pleasant and no twats leaving mid game!!

PS <3 Naxx

I'm playing in the Forum Open League atm.  Its my first multiplayer campaign, and my first time playing Undead too, 2-2-4 record atm   Funny thing is my only two wins were both against top 10 ranked players, against the general rabble though I've been losing.  Lost last night against Orcs after ending up in a very strong position at one point in the match, a bloody goblin throw right at the end got them a 2-1 win

Losing to a Goblin throw is infuriating! Esspecially when you 2 die block the goblin with wrestle the turn before and double skull....grumble...grumble....

Anyway, well if you are looking for probably the biggest and most established league check out Orca Cola, I'm an admin there and can make a reassuring grunt on your application, you only need to do 1 game a week! ;)
We must have something like 300 coaches right now.

Hey all!

Version 18 of the mod is now available for download on the first page. This version contains a new shipset for the Naxxilians and also a replacement shipset for the Humans. The old Diverse Worlds Human shipset has been moved into the Extra Content folder, you can find it there if you would rather use those instead. Please enjoy!

Preview: Left Human, Right Naxxilian

A go at Shandar, just playing around. A bit garish perhaps, but Orange and Silver was the popular choice in previous discussions in this thread

Edit: Replaced image with a better one, the silvery bits are now less Orange

Really nice work, WoodMan.

The Shandar ship looks spot on to me.

Shandars just happen to be over optimistic, happy-go-lucky lizards who swim in lava and enjoy cold drinks while at it. They MUST have colorful ships!
Honestly, Shandars probably become one of my top-5 favourite races after Woodman finishes their set.

The new humans look great, and the Shandar ship too.

The human colony ship is no longer a slightly bigger cruiser :-)

I really love the effort you've put into this mod, but I got to admit I've been mixing the new and new-old ships and bases of the humans to get something I prefer. I'm using the latest human ships, with the exception of the destroyer, frigate, escort and exploration ship (need a distinguishable icon in the left sidemenu in-game) and swapped the gas station with the old one (the new gas and mining stations are too similar imho).

Excellent work on the pack though and I'm looking forward to the Shandar addition!

Four thums up!

Why Woodman, you sly devil, are you 'intentionally' putting 'Narn' colors into
this set to call your own?

Continue your EXCELLENT efforts mate!

Is it just me or does the Naxx shipset not appear on the first page?  I get this small square box stating it was removed or unavailable.

Edit:

It says: Tinypic........the image or video has been moved or deleted.

Same here. I'm sure WoodMan will fix it in the morning. He's probably tucked up in bed by now.

lol, my picture of the Naxx was removed from TinyPic for some reason.  I'm guessing maybe I host too many pics there, time to delete some of the unused ones from older games.
