I noticed that the AI (not sure about human side) can attack through a non-movement hex side. Is this WAD? I hope not because it does not seem fair in any sense.

As I see the attack is NE, i.e. trough the passable hex side.

Yes, but how can a unit not physically able to move through a area be able to attack through it.  The unit should be with the others to participate not next to it.

Only two of the three units are attacking through the passable hexside. If you look at the list of units attacking, and the highlighting on the units, you will see that one of the three divisions is making an attack that it shouldn't be able to make.

I have seen that once in the same area, but I wasn't sure. It has not been repeated so maybe there is a map error? we see an impassible hex but the AI sees a passable one...?

There is no map error - I've tried to run it manually and it it is not possible.

Now we need a repeating save with AI doing this.

Gary has made a fix that should make it less likely to attack over an impassable hex. We haven't been able to duplicate the bug, but hopefully the fix will prevent it from happening. The fix should be in the next patch.
