darn search function used to work...

Can someone answer/explain the following for me please.

1. Does "repairing" disabled units take supply for either side?

2. Does reinforcing take supplies for the allies assuming the devices are in the pool (I am not clear on this from the manual)?

3. Does repairing ships use supplies?

4. Do supplies, fuel, or oil move from Singapore to Hong Kong to PA if the IJA controls all bases south of Chungking? IE does this become one supply network?

5. When veterans are requested and they do not show in the pilot list because their delay is over 7 days how long is that delay? is this being updated?

Thanks in advance!

#5.  First you have to have Veterans in the pool.  Next the delay is there on purpose.  Pilots are required to travel to the Squardron that they are assigned.  The delay represents this travel time.

I appreciate the fast response. My question on pilots is "is there a way to know what the delay is or is it usually something like 10 days?"

I mean I requested a pilot can I expect him in 2 weeks or will I be waiting a year....

Check the group's pilot roster. The delay column should tell when he is due.
Transfers of pilots who are currently in play is limited to max of 7 days in order to show up in the group list.

Is that in the beta patch?  I am using the last official patch and I still get pilots that don't show up because the delay is too long.

Another question

6. in plane data is a higher or a lower number for accuracy better?  Is this the spread or odds of hitting?

I am bumping this as I am still looking for answers. I did get an answer to number 2 in another thread

answer 2. repairing damaged squads takes 1 supply point per load cost of the device? or 15 supply per squad on average?

No there is a difference between adding a device, which costs 1 supply point per load cost. Repairing a disabled squad costs no supply.

zace - see the post called "searching the forums - a solution?" posted today. i think you can get the search function to work as advertised and find some of your answers there.

even selecting less precise has led me to the unable to find results 100% of the time. it has been that way for a couple of weeks. I am on Firefox 3.6 or whatever if that matters.

For pilots:

Whenever a pilot is transfers, there is a random, up-to-15 day delay.
If the delay is 7 days or less, the pilot will be shown on his squadron's Pilot screen with the appropiate delay listed next to his name; the delay will be listed in days, once the delay is at 1, the pilot can be made active.
If the delay is 8 - 15 days, the pilot will not be shown on his squadron's Pilot screen, but he will be listed in the Group Reserve Pool, assigned to his current squadron; the delay will be listed in year/month format (ie-4201).

For plane data:

The higher the accuracy the better.
For example, a .50 Browning MG has an Accuracy of 29; an Atom Bomb has an Accuracy of 100.
