I just bought the game and installed it. Clicking on the 'check for update' it gives me the 'there is a newer version of war in the pacifica admiral's edition available' screen. When I press "Next" it then gives me the error message above.

What do I need to get the update?

go to matrixgames.com register the game and get the download from your member file there, or go to the forum and get it there. I found the in game updater had problems.
