Given the example below, what exactly will happen to the 6th RTA? Do political points get penalized if the inactive division isn't reformed and withdrawn by August 2, 1944 or do the active sub-units withdraw on May 16, 1945 as long as they don't reform the division again?

I just noticed the discrepancy in dates and haven't found any similar examples on the forum. Thanks for any input.

Good question but in thinking on the logic of it since land units w/d automatically would be that if the 6th is whole it get w/d under that date else if left split it would w/d under those & if reformed whole between those dates, it would w/d during that turn since it's past the original w/d date but I'm not sure about any pp penalties.

The split units (/a,/b,/c) themselves don't have a withdraw date so I would have expected them to inherit the date from their parent unit( the inactive one).
Seems strange to report the 'inactive' one while the active ones are active.

Okay.
Good news is that the withdraw delay is passed to the sub-units.

Bad news is that the withdraw delay on the sub-units is not decreasing.!!!

However if the unit is rebuilt, it goes back to the correct withdraw delay of the parent.
