Status: offline 		first off....beautful map. Nice job. Slightly suprised that northern Finland wasn't represented. Detail level is frightening. Not even sure where to start in regards getting the toes wet.

Was honestly scared to see that each ground device has it's own seperate exp rating. lol.....i have to admit, i kind of miss the simplicity of brigade/divisional units having a nice single exp value. Thank god it's still week long turns at leat

Suppose starting as Sov's in 41 might be easiest, allowing the AI to kick me around to learn the ropes.

Welcome to Russia, and this is a really beautiful game just as good as WitP:AE.

I have only been playing for about a month now myself, so I'm learning too. Have just started a Road to Leningrad server game as the Axis, and it's so realistic in PBEM. You have to spend a half-hour doing air-recon just to find the Russians (if you have him on the run).

Back in the 8bit and 8088 PC days, i probably logged more Eastern front hours than any other type....till PacWar came out.

Anyway.....if two Volumes of Glantz's Stalingrad couldn't get me in the mood to throw several tank armies into the charnal pit.....nothing ever would.

He said he would have to do some ''Lobbying'' at home before buying.

You know........i'll take up that challenge someday. When i was a kid, a high school friend of mine was a closet nazi. Loved all things German, including the superior race aspect of it......which i got an earful of......but when it came time to play a wargame, he never wanted to be the Germans.....because it was the harder side to play! So i never got to play the Allies

He hated losing.
