After a year of PBEM gaming where both myself and my opponent have extensively used air transports to move troops and supplies on a daily basis, the only losses appear to be when the planes are caught on the ground and operational losses.

I have seen the "Transports flying to X intercepted" messages on several occasions and know transports have flown to supply LCUs in enemy controlled hexes with heavy CAP and Flak but still there are zero transport planes listed as lost to A2A or Flak. Likewise, I have monitored my LRCAP units when they regularly intercept Transport missions yet they have never shown an increase in kills (neither do reported operational losses for transport units seem to be any higher when they are intercepted).

Has anyone seen different results? If not, perhaps it could be looked at to see if this aspect of the game is functioning as intended.

Game save(s) can be provided if desired.

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Those losses that do not appear in combat reports (like intercepted patrol or transport planes) seems to go to category Ops losses.

I have seen "transport planes intercepted" but I had fighters at each end of the transfer and saw both my own and enemy fighters lost in the daily tally (that were not accounted for in the combat reports), and I had not actually lost any transports that turn.

I have also seen patrol planes (PBY Catalinas) reported as air to air losses when intercepted on troop transport missions.
