Greetings, Igard and anyone else that may be interested...

I have discovered a most interesting website, called www.shipschematics.net
with 3.402 startship schematics, and counting (of varying completeness),
includng Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and Babylon ship classes.

Very extensive... and quite useful

Thankyou Caesar.

I'm not sure I've visited this site before. I've seen many of the images I came across already, but it's nice to have them all in one place.

Oh, not at all, Igard. I was thinking that what was new to me was probably not new to more experienced
players, even if some are not Humans, but Romulans, perhaps

The site curiously seems to lack ships from the Star Wars Universe

You will notice that the ship shematics are incomplete insofar as not all of them have
an appropriate colour sheme and/or images to edit into PNG format. Still, over 3.400 schematics
are pretty neat...

EDIT: By the way, Igard, we both seem to have, shall we say, an imperial outlook on the universe...
Alas, yes, there is no better way to govern...

I've just found some Terran Empire ships that I could use, they're in colour, but I'll have to try and some detail to them.

Ah, what happened to all the great empires? The British, The Ottomans, The Romans. I think it was all a case of culture over colonialism/conquering. That's why the Romulans do it best, we slowly turn our subjects into loyal citizens through propaganda and deception. Nothing wrong with that right? If they think they're happy, then they won't uprise.

Ah, yes, by propaganda and deception... if your conquered peoples think they are happy, they will prove to be a loyal populace. Most logical. Indeed, how clever a folk you Romulans are!

But, my dear Igard, we must not forget Spain's glorious Empire, in the height of the reigns of Charles V and Philip II.
A different kind of empire than was the British, more of a colonial type, whereas the Spanish was more a truly provincial
imperial expansion, whereby the overseas empire was really additonal provinces of Roman Catholic Spain herself...

{sigh} Alas...

Note to self:
If Igard or Ceaser Agustus runs for political office, just say 'no.'

Indeed, sir, I don't think that Igard or myself have any political convictions at all ...
and in any case, we would not be "elected", you see...

BUT on the other hand, either of us would probably do a better job of governing with an imperial creed, or at the very
least, would not do any worse than those who already govern... by, ummm, "popular demand", (gad!)
a most notorial inefficient way of doing things, you know...

Oh, and lest someone misunderstand me (all ironies and kidding aside) when I "sighed" before about Spain's glorious Empire,
I really did mean to sigh for the greatness of it, notwithstanding the imperfect human condiition,
but for the expansion of Roman Catholic civilisation and culture,
to her overseas provinces, and (mostly) sighing that Spain recuperate her true Catholic roots
