How many games did you ever played in parallel? Is it something you're trying to avoid or actually seek?
We all have more than one favourite game and even if at times we obses about one of them we like them all, just curious how you negociate this predicament

Right now, I'm torn between DW, SimCity 4, and Dragon Age II. So I try to play an hour or so of each daily.

Whole lot of Xbox games coming out in the next few months I want to play too. Gears of War 3, Mass Effect 3, Deus Ex Revolution, to name a few....

My wallet is cringing in fear...

Usually two games of different types and some kind of modding or mapping project as a third.  Not something I do on purpose but it seems to occur naturally for me.  Oddly its usually one multiplayer game and one singleplayer game too.  Usually the single player game is strategy or roleplaying and the multiplayer game is FPS, but there have been some exceptions like multiplayer Trackmania and multiplayer Blood Bowl.

At the moment I'm playing Distant Worlds and Blood Bowl Legendary edition while modding Distant Worlds.  I have a few other games on the computer but not really playing them much: Supreme Commander Forged Alliance, Settlers 4, Settlers 6, Cities XL 2011, Age of Wonders Shadow Magic, Dominions 3 and a couple games left on my HDD that I literally never play and should really be uninstalled like Star Craft 2.

Don't remind me of Mass Effect 3 and Deus Ex: Human revolution in the same sentence, Shark7; Too much awesomeness to wait for!

Currently playing: DW, SoaSE (Can't wait for the new Rebellion expansion!), replaying my ME2 engineer, waiting for SPAZ alpha, OMF 2097 (thank you DosBox!), Forza 3 (various community endurance events) and Söldner-X 2 (PS3, Best vertical shooter in years!).

Also considering replaying Deus Ex and Jade Empire. Crazy considering that I may get a new job in couple of weeks.

I tend to play 1.5 games at a time. I often sub to a mmo, and that would mix with a single player game if I have one. In general I focus mostly one one game at a time, though.

Currently no MMO, but I would probably pick up Rift if I get bored, however I don't think it would be a long time keeper. I am on/off with DW, and will focus on a game when I have one running, then take a break.

Right now I have some programming focus on the side that takes about a game slot, and started Dragon Age 2, with DW on the wait.

I tend to be a bit habit bound. When I am in the groove on a game, focus in on that. When I lose the groove, habit is lost and I stop playing it. So waiting for patches is very dangerous for my future play time...

Wow, so I'm not the only one trying this balancing act...I see a lot of me in all of you, getting to the point where we structure this experience based on genres or single player / multi player and such.
Basically I'm doing the same thing now with dw, xcom ufo defense, uru and sr2.

Binge, you bring up an interesting point with 1.5.....actually there is only one I concentrate at a time and for the rest small steps. Then the roles reverse and so on...

I personally have been trying to step away from computers myself. I like this game way to much to abandon computers entirely... the other thing is that it is just way to convenient at the end of a day to boot the machine up and play.

But the games I am playing along side of this are board games Advanced Squad Leader -- and some of the Critical Hit Variants. I can hardly wait for Genesis 48 and LZ X-ray to come out.

I've got a few games on my computer that I don't play at all anymore, Pro Evo Soccer 2011, ArmA 2 as well as Starfleet Command 2: Orion Pirates.

Right now my playing time is divided between Distant Worlds/Modding Distant Worlds and Star Trek: Online.

There's been a few instances where I've played as many as half a dozen games at a time. However, usually it's no more than 2-3 (and even that's not common for me).

I play DW (always in morning and evening if I can), EQ2, Civ 5 (better with last patch), and if I can Age of Conan. I am really liking Woodmans Diverse worlds, very nice and thank you.

Sometimes I really get tired :)

Oh man, is this ever my downfall. You remember the old saying when you're young you have all the time and no money, now that I am older I have the money and hardly any time for it all.

Currently playing:
PC - Distant Worlds RoS, Lord of the Rings Online, Plants vs Zombies, Torchlight, Machinarium, Dawn of Discovery, Civ 5, Company of Heroes

Board - The Kaiser's Pirates, Castle Ravenloft, Steel Wolves, Agricola, Phantom Leader

Role Playing - Game of Thrones SOIAF, creating a campaign for Pathfinder

I prefer to switch between games on a (two-) weekly basis to be able to play one game more or less wholeheartedly. As father of a family my time for computer games is scarce.
Currently playing DW-RotS / Starcraft 2 / Elemental WoM / X3-TC / Cities in motion. That's a lot of stuff already however I just bought both expansions for Sins of a Solar Empire.
At times when there's just to little time to play I even tend to buy a new laptop to be able to play more of my favorite games on vacation. Because that's the time when I can play for four or five hours straight.
I recently recognized that I started to play far into the night more often again. There are just so many good games... DW for example

Role Playing - Game of Thrones SOIAF,

Reading the books right now. They're terrific. Really looking forward to the series with Sean Bean.

I really love the SOIAF books, but have been so disillusioned at the lack of progress that I had actually given up on seeing that story ended.

And then it is released that Dances with Dragons (or whatever the exact title is) has a release date. It also makes me believe that the next book is mostly "ready", as I think he has done a major "thread" control job, which is why it has taken so long. Those books are ripe with references for future books...

But the book coming out. It is destroying my image of the world in much the same way as aliens calling on my door would do.

Time is pretty scarce for me in terms of gaming.  I am currently playing Distant Worlds and Kohan 2, one of the best RTS games ever (it truly is a tactical / strategy game), which I've been playing off and on for about 7 years now.

This is scary Data! Really shows how 'old' my skin is getting. XCOM UFO
DEFENSE (aka UFO Enemy Unknown) Great game....nothing like having your
most veteran squad ambushed at a crash site by a group of Ethereals!

DW - ROTS, XCOM, and ALPHA CENTAURI for me!

Don't be so quick on DW either; it certainly is old school as well, taking the best from it and going futher.
It's like being there when MOO2 or XCOM or other giants where developed, great times ahead as well

Weeks have to few days and days have to few hours...

Trying to play Lord of the Rings online, Star Trek online, DW, Napoleon: Total War, World of Tanks, Monkey Island (on IPad), XCOM, Dead Rising 2, Death Spank and Company of Heroes every week.

It doesn't fit well in standard weeks (That ones where I must work...)...

If anyone have a solution to extend time PLEASE tell me

Indeed.

On-topic: Finally went and ordered Demons Souls for PS3 (got lucky and found the Black Phantom edition on discount). I was huge fan of the Severance: Blade of Darkness and Demons Souls looks and sounds similar. Have to see if all the talk about difficulty is right. Challenging and unforgiving ain't problem but plain cheap makes me feel bloodthirsty, in a very bad way.

Usually at least 3. One or two War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition, an ongoing DW RotS and at least one HPS Sims game (either as play tester agsint the AI or with another player). More than 3 or 4 games eats too much time and I can't play regularly.

Wow, didn´t know anyone else then me still playing some XCom UFO-Defense.

I didn´t played RotS since 3 weeks, at this time i play Dragon Age 2 but today I want to start a new rotS game with the 1.5.0.6 patch and the super AI mod. (+ some of the music from BSG Soundtrack; I think the music perfectly fits to this game)

I'm playing DW & WitP AE.  Right now I need to finish up my Canadian & US tax forms.  So everything is on the back burner for a few days.
