The large pictures that are saved each turn have the place names in them. Is there a way to turn this off? I think I saw a post about it in the past, unfortunately the forum search feature doesn't seem to be working and I can't find it. I'm using TOAW v 202.

Steve,

you mean the screenshot? It might help to turn of the location names after you've played your turn; the question is, against PO/PBEM? Do you need a screenhot after each turn anyway? You can switch it off and do it manually, too.

P.S. *plastered* OBL boozing celebration

Hi Klaus, Yep, it's the screen shot's that are saved after each turn. I have turned the place names off before saving, but they are still there. They get in they way a bit when I make movies/slide shows. I have played around with the font sizes, however I would like to leave them the way they are for game play. It's a game against the PO.

P.S Celebrating OBL's departure in Philly as well. I had taken some snapshots at the local pub, but they were out of focus. Perhaps because I was a little "out of focus" LOL

I guess the best bet is to PM Uncle Larry or some od the AAR blokes; I am sure they know. If they do, post the answer here, aye? It might come in handy for my tutorial series.

Afaik, the place names are always displayed on such a "from-game" screenshot. Fiddled around with these things, too and couldn't get rid of them.

Thanks guys. I had a question for Larry about how he displayed certain info in his D21 AAR so I'll include this too.

It seems that the place names are just part of the way it works. It's only an issue on smaller scenarios with smaller maps and a lot of towns/cities. If the place names get in the way I'll use the small version instead.
