Are there any benifits for having this status?

I know shock armies and guards divisions,corps etc all get moral bonus's. Just wondered if similar bonuses are applied to units under guards army.

Good point. I think there is no benefit of having Guards Army. I think there could be the one, but non-cumulative for the guards units.
