Hi Michael,

Thanks for fixing the issue with planes attacking LCU's with large # of devices. I have a new issue, though. Look at the battle at Kaoping. I start the battle on 3/24/42 with 2 chinese corps. When the Japanese bombard, both corps are totally destroyed. The 2 HQ and 1 ENG units in the same hex are not affected. If I divide the 2 corps into 3 parts, I don't have this problem.

I've given the save before and the save after, hopefully.

Thanks, Brad

I think it is related to the device overflow. The method of device destruction expects units to have 3000 or less total devices in them.
I fixed the issue that cause the list to overflow, but something else is causing the unit to think it is a 'size' of '0'.

Weird. A bug that needs another bug to keep it working.

It is an overflow issue, but the size of the LCU is bigger than the variable holding the size. It became negative and caused the unit to be killed off.
Yes it has been around since start I think. I have faint memory of such funny things happening to big units before but they seemed to related to other things. Problem could have had its roots in this issue tough.

I post an updated version shortly.
