If any Brits have Lovefilm there's a 19 minute documentary called "Birth of the B-29" in "Special Interest" available as "Watch Now". Made in 1945 it's definitely a product of it's time.

BTW, that factory is the Boeing, Renton plant which is where 737s and 757s are built today. I once worked in another building at the same plant.

Fun video. Just watched it. Lots of propaganda, though. The B-29 had lots and lots of teething problems. And the bomb runs from China had many limitations (logistical).
