It is great to have the latest Beta and thank you sincerely for each one which continues to correct and improve this game but I have to admit a bit of a disappointment.

I was hoping and perhaps other also, to get some 'bigger' changes soon such as Air War changes (several things), Sub Units changes, as people tend to use Lock to overcome Headquarters sub_unit issues plus other items still kicking around, forts debate, etc.

We're finishing up the 1.04 update and thus focusing on the last remaining minor issues. If you read through all the changes in the 1.04 iterations, there are a huge number of changes and major improvements in that series. Anything else that could have a serious impact is now part of what will eventually be 1.05, otherwise 1.04 will never be finished and able to be an official release. Every change requires more time and testing in a game of this complexity and major changes are not something we tend to make right before an update goes official.

Regards,

- Erik

Just pretend that they never released a Beta and you are waiting impatiently for the 1.04 patch that will add about a gazillion enhancements, fixes, and improvements

I know I complain some times, but to be honest you guys are making more improvements then WoW was after release.

Most poeple that had any exp playing MMO's were millionaires withen a few days of WoW's release because of dupes, hacks and exploits.

The release of this game has been reley smooth and they have made tons of improvements. I am no fanboy, but the game is great and getting better.

I still hold the right to bitch from time to time, because hmm I can heheheh.

Great job keep up good work and its summer guys take a dam vacation at some point.

Is it possible to update an ongoing single-player game? I'm afraid of investing my time in a game that I'll need to start over once the big patch comes...

Yes, you can patch an on-going game and it should still be compatible. Any changes to mechanics should reflect on any actions you take after you patch your game, but changes to the data such as TOE or production changes will NOT be grandfathered in.

Its just me or did the training mission losses for the sovjet exploded with the patch?
Its june '42 and I have about 600 to 700 AC losses/week flying training missions after applying the patch. Only at the 2 turn since the patch and i will keep watching if it stops within the next turns.
But if not, training will be far more dangerous then combat. :)

Perhaps I am partly to blame for this!

I've been keeping a good bit of my Soviet Air Force in the national reserve, so the whole force is above 24k planes, which causes the game to not fill out some air units ( a bug ).  I noted the situation ( air units not receiving planes ) so when the devs decided to work on the bug they also decided to increase training loss rates.
