T81: KLilly has found a weak spot and is pushing hard down south. I'm going to have to pull back slightly and reform my front lines.

Here's the situation after I did my moves. I'm pulling back toward the south and trying to beef up the area under duress to prevent a
breakthrough.

I believe the artillery divisions use both 122 and 152 mm stuff...that's just a guess; I don't remember the TOE at the moment.  I know that light arty brigades use the 76 mm stuff.

Ah...finally KLilly shows his hand and the Panzers reappear. His big problem is that his front is too long and he is running out of counters to put in the front line. So he is trying to:
- shorten the line by eliminating the Crimea bulge.
- stopping your center offensive which threatens to stretch the line even further

If you can stop these offensives by amassing troops in front of them (like in the Crimea) you can wear him down. Ideally, if you have enough troops in front of him, you can stomp on his Panzers with stacked Rifle corps. In the mean time keep attacking where his Panzers are not. The only thing you have to avoid are these 25+ division encirclements. As long as he can't do that, he can't really hurt you.

Tip: there is still a hole in your Crimea position: if he attacks the 9-7 below his two panzer stacks, there are only some HQs to the south east. If you have any troops left that you can move there, I'd advise to do so.

1) Sappers and other attachments for all your Infantry Corps if you do not have them already
2) Combine Divs into Guard Inf Corps
3) Combine Divs into Regular Inf Corps
4) Tank Brigades (or will this kill your vehicles?) You probably have a few thousand T-34 and KV-1s in the pool.

Can you show us your entire replacement pool?

Why yes, I can. I'm hoping these T82 numbers are the numbers you're looking for:

That noise you hear is my troops racing forward to take up the vacant real estate in the NorthWest Front area. It looks like KLilly
pulled back big time. Maybe he's going to set up on the west side of the river leading out of Riga. ??

Props to you for the fine AAR`s. I think you have done better most of us in these Games, and I`ve been following them all. What is the Exp. and Morale of those Guards Rifle Divs. he`s attacking down South at the T 82 pic ? Also what`s the leadership stats like ?

The Air Game play eludes me, but have you tried any ground attacks against those Pz. Divs ?

Thanks !

You probably have very few tank units with heavy tanks right now ( if the tank brigades have been merged into corps ).  Order a few tank regiments and have them train up in some backwoods MD.

10.000+ medium tanks, almost 10.000 light tanks, just rusting away in the pool :(
Perhaps build a few more Tank Corps, not to go adventuring with them (they are very poor in defense), but just to be able to take more tank casualties and less infantry casualties when attacking?

For the rest you are doing fantastically well. Both Panzer attacks seem to have floundered already. Keep lengthening the front where possible: his withdrawal from the northern Baltic states shows he is in trouble: he needs a shorter front so he can free his best troops for counteroffensives.

Maybe send even more troops to the Crimea bulge:
- to make sure that his offensive won't be able to shorten the front there much more
- and should you be able to cross the Dnepr towards Nikolaev, his troubles there will really start

In the NorthWest Front I'm still moving to occupy all that vacant property that KLilly has left open and I entertained the thought to
maybe amphibiously invade Helsinki with some troops. I reconned it and there was nobody home but sea movement didn't allow
Helsinki as a destination so I'm wondering if I should amphibiously invade, you see. I bombed a nearby port as an experiment but
only 3 bombers flew so there was no damage to the port ( strength 2 ). Lost three fighters.

T84: Here's the Axis attacks in the far south. KLilly has eliminated that isolated stack or two and is now taking on my new lines down
there. He's still on the advance! I may have to pull back to the entrances to the Crimea.

Here's the front lines in T84 after my recon:

EDIT: Just to clarify: I've moved nothing but the group in the deep south where all the Axis attacks are taking place. So the front lines
will change ( especially in the NorthWest Front area ).

As you noticed, no amphibious assaults are possible in the north, only transporting (to and from friendly ports).

Keep hitting those tanks in the Crimean area. Forcing them to retreat always really weakens them and will force him to pull them back relatively quickly. He only has a very narrow penetration into your lines, so you should be able to mass and hit him.

You could also think about taking an army or two out of the northern area (where he retreated) and putting them in reserve around Orel or so in order to react to potential offensives of his.

Yeah, that and bombing them with "ground attacks" via the aircraft. They run out of supply sooner when I do that.

OOooooops. I don't have a reserve at all anywhere. Oh man, this is a disaster waiting to happen. I'm going to have to keep what I
have rather than try to grab more, just so I can gather enough troops to form a reserve of some kind. Great idea turtle dude. Keep
those good ideas coming.
