Hi guys,

it's been a long time for me on here (different name). And I just got AE lasst weekend. So here we go:

I have Perth all set up as a base for sub ops and have started receiving my 2nd batch of subs, but to my surprise I'm seeing that they can not replenish their torpeados. What am I missing? Currently theres about 4000 supply there and I have more comming. What else am I missing?

I have also noticed there are supply request buttons at baces now ( as compared to WitP). How does that work with moving supplies over land?

I assume you have a loaded sub tender there?

You'll find that most of the tenders (e.g., AE, AS, etc.) will need to load supply and be topped off periodically to perform well. You don't need this for AR or ARD classes.

How did it go once you did this-problem resolved?

Still reloading. Though Pearl seems to be working fine with them UNLOADED. Port size is my bet.

Any bites on the request supply buttons on the base screen?

ok, torp issue resolved, subs back in action!!!

However I still want to know if the buttons for requesting more supplies makes those bases receive more supplies or what? I don't see much of an improvement when I use it... Am I missing something?

Read this thread:

Just bear in mind you can now stockpile if using the current beta.

Also see my Logistics 101 on main Ae forum.

If you increase flow at Perth, you take away from other bases it might go to (due to internal transportation). Plus remember that there is supply points loss over rail/road lines but no points are lost at sea unless the SHIP carrying the cargo is lost.

I just got done reading the thread. I'm sure I'll have more questions in a short. Right now I just need to move supplies to Darwin and Perth till the convoys get there. And from Calcutta to the various bases in Burma.
