I was about to type the same question. That must have been one hell of a game.

Pretty cool.

P-38J Lightning x 115
A-26B Invader x 249

249 A-16 Invaders in one bombing attack! This will be my AFB wet dream tonight...

Sooooooo.....who is winning?

I third the question: how are so many Japanese ships still afloat? Have the Allies been smacked that hard, or has the Japanese player really conserved their forces? Regardless, it seems Japan has won this one, if spirit, and maybe points as well.

The following questions are begged: Who won and which side are you? There is fighting in Sendai and the Japanese still have Manila--where is the front line? What do the surviving fleets look like? Anyway, thanks for sharing.

Cheers,
CC

Looks like a tough game!
I take it Allied PDU is off? Only training sqns for rookies are flying Kittyhawk III's on my game in 1943.

I was Japan. I got very lucky in two straight carrier battles that greatly set my opponent back. Game ended in a decisive victory for Japan w/this turn. Fighting was going on in the Home Islands, the PI, and in Java. Russia was pushing hard down the Korean penisula. Most of the IJN fleet carriers survived by very careful use and some hiding, and a lot of luck. Same for the surface forces. We started this game before PDU were even in the game, if that tells you anything. This game had been going for 5 or 6 years...
