Hi,

Firstly thank you for a mod with great potential. Unfortunately, I have an issue running it and seek advice. I am running DW's with the ROTS addon. It is updated with the latest beta for that edition 1.5.010. I installed the Galactic and Rebellion packs and tried the Galactic side. Game loads fine (theme music, selections, ships etc) and then runs with no issues up until I get in Combat. As soon as a ship begins to take internal damage I get a fatal error crash and the normal screen disappears and becomes white with a diagonal red line crossing to each corner. I tried it three times and it worked up untl that point each time. Thoughts or suggestions? In anticipation, thank you.

AKL

Nothing to be sorry about!
I do want to help, I just did not want to have to rekey all my suggestions...
I put a couple of things to look at there in Lord Xorns
let me know if they help! I will keep checking in.

* An update *

I just bought and installed some of the graphics tools from ProFantasy.
It is a bunch of tools for maps, and ship making, and stuff like that, so I am tweaking a couple of things.

BUT, I knocked out the first set of character files... :)
Elliot, I do hope someday you will include some kind of Force parameter (or whatever it might be in other universes)... hard to make a Jedi without it

I am still workingon it all. :)

No, but it might get pickled if he keeps hitting the Romulan Ale.
By the way: what does a pickled positronic brain look like?

Hey, give that back....at least Igard can replace what I take from him. These things don't exactly grow in any cargobay, you know.

We've always wondered why you 'mentally focused' on Romulan Ale so much! LOL!

True: but you know: we find your head all over the galaxy... 19th century Earth with mark Twain, some goofy planet where a car chase breaks out... then there is Lore's head...
We see more of your face then we do of the Pike triplets: Zu, Zan, and Zee (Bounty Hunters from the SW universe).
They are not in a cargo bay because they are on very planet in the galaxy.

I would also add the B4 incident. I think that all these incidents are Igard's doing....he's a modder, he can write ages as a Myst fan would say.

** Decloaks **

On behalf of the senate and the people of the Romulan Star Empire, we deny all involvment with the 'B4' incident and the subsequent inexplicable car chase through the desert that followed.

Clearly, Captain Picard wanted to test drive his new dune buggy, and so planted the B4 android on that planet in the hopes that a chase sequence would ensue.

** Cloaks **

So THAT'S why Data went on the away mission to Kolaris III....The Argo's dune buggy is fueled with
Romulan Ale!

I sort of pretend that incident with the buggy did not happen, sort of like the Ewoks smashing an Imperial regiment... It did not happen. The Ewoks were wiped out... Good thing the Death Star blew up or Han and Leia would have been in trouble on that moon. How is that for denial.
The buggy was tooooo SW... So it did not happen.

And maybe that was why Data was sniffing the exhausts... Romulan Ale Fumes...

Yeah, Sir Patrick Stewart is a petrol head, so the story goes that he really wanted to do something like that dune buggy chase and the producers just went along with it.

And why is this thread suddenly called 'Problem with Mod'? I've changed the reply subject back to 'SW Stuff'. Much better.

I think that the original thread heading got 'cloaked'!

(Now just looked who 'un-cloaked it'!}

Does any one know of any good reources for Star Wars Facilities? I already have a senate; a jedi temple, an excellent planet based gun?
AND lastly, does anyone know of a good top view of a Pinnace class destroyer?
It will not delay the release of the mod, but I would like to have those for it.

Did a couple more characters (I have a few)... it is moving; but it is taking time because I cannot devote anything more than the odd day off.

Creating characters is by far the most time consuming thing about creating a mod for DW.

Update:

I am still working on characters. I am still surprised how slow that is...
I am working on the Republic right now.

Thanks to IGard for some useful information on how 'long' characters last...

Does anyone want Jar Jar in the character set?

On a more serious note, I have had to rev up Jedi/Force sensative characters in certain areas to try to reflect their abilities... so when the mod comes out, that is why they are so good at certain things compared to other characters...

I think Jar Jar should be in there. That's just my honest opinion.
