Reading the rules, I saw that we should post only one idea per person. Which seems fine to me. However for those who have tons of ideas, but can only post one ; or for those who don't have the time to work on a full description, I propose the "mixed bag of creatures" : fell free to post as many simple ideas of creatures in that thread.

There are three rules only :
- Posting here, you allow anyone to draw inspiration from it and elaborate the concept for the contest.
- Your description should not be longer than 60 words
- Unlike the contest, you can post unlikely stuff such as pink floating Cadillac. Because that thread is also there for fun.

And to start :

The asteroid monster : A giant monster is lurking in an asteroid, ready to extend its tentacles to grab any ship flying by. Destroying that creature is impossible, however shooting at the asteroid might release its prey. So you should either avoid the area, or travel with friends.

Space whales. Peaceful creatures, that will attract tourists and give moral boost to the colonies in what system they are. Cant travel to other stars
