Thx guys for the input. Sadly this game/concept should have had allot of people working on getting it to people quicker. It is a really neat concept that if not exploited timely...someone else will capitalize on his idea. I mean...who wouldn't want to play Real Boardgames on PC with interaction an the whole 9 yards ...lol. Please finish this game. :)
Mike

your statement is very prophetic. Western civ and matrix beat mark to it with Company of heroes. its ashame. I have given up on this game. good luck on the board game mark. maybe you should give wester civ the rights to your games for the pc.

Matrix is partly to blame here aswell. No word from them on this in years. They keep open a forum slot on here aswell which is getting ridiculous.

Hi guys,

Things may be quiet, but there is much going on behind the scenes. We are doing our best to finish this one as well, we just don't want to post new information until we have a more definite release timeframe.

Regards,

- Erik

Maybe it's closer than we think, now that it's being advertised.

Maybe I'm losing my mind. Where I thought I saw it was on the Matrix homepage. I clicked on it to see about ordering but there was no link. Now it's not there.
I think I will put down the mouse and back away from the keyboard

this game is just a baby in forum years, combined arms/battlefield has been coming soon since 2001 i believe, and was mentioned as being in beta testing in 2003. If i had to bet, i'd say this one see's the light of day before combined arms/battlefield.

for the record I don't think anyone owes me a game.[like i don't have enough to play]

Maybe and then again maybe not. What is sure though is that *now* they have a rival/competitor that is about to be released. Matter of fact it already has an AAR by MoReb.

Who care's, if it takes this long, then IF you buy it....how long to patches and upgrades.....not.  I gave up on this one long ago.  Only in this thread because I am bored.  I wonder why Matrix even keeps this game on its site.

I saw this today.

Finally, the third of the Big Three boardgame ports—Lock ‘n Load Heroes of Stalingrad—will come with both a German and Russian campaign and will be available in Q3-2012

http://www.armchairgeneral.com/game-previews-from-slitherine-matrix-press-days-2012-an-acg-report.htm

That's the first solid release date I've seen in awhile concerning this game.

Good Hunting.

Shame on me I think that I prefer the look of this than CoH and this is the one I want released.

CoH just hasn't got me excited for some reason, what we've seen on the animations with this one looks like it's using the PC far more which for me is a good thing. I also like the fact LnL has leader counters.

I agree. I don't play tactical games that don't show leadership. There is far more involvement with leadership on the battlefield other than my own personal input.

Good Hunting.
