What is the status on the development of the tutorial for AE? Old posts indicate that it was being worked on at the time of release, but the team decided to go ahead with releasing without waiting for it to be finished. It has been a couple of years now, so is this still being worked on or has it been officially dropped from the product now?

There's no tutorial. Coral Sea scenario is probably best way to start as a newbie.

The original WitP is the closest your going to get a tutorial. Other than that just learn from your mistakes. I'm doing alot of learning.

I agree w/ Puhis. I started w/ Coral Sea, then the Aleutians scenario, now Guadalcanal. You'll find yourself on the forum or in the instructions looking up specific rules in no time.

To be fair, I'd not recommend that as FIRST reading, since my AAR pretty much takes granted that player already is familiar with basic controls of the game.

It is more for player who has already played few shorter scenarios and familiarized with controls & mechanics, then wanting to try grand Campaign for fist time.

For that, n01487477 tutorials are better as first things to digest.
