24 year old long time lover of Paradox and as of the last two months CodeForce games.  Didn't realize I'd be among the youngest since I feel like I'm getting old .

Oh, and this is "officially" my first post, though I've been lurking since I bought the original + RotS in beginning of October (and Legends the day it was released).

Army 1972-1975, Security Agency, Germany.

Didn't start playing computer games till 1994, Dune II, Galactic Reunion and Outpost.

Before that Tactics and Strategy Board games by Avalon Hill. Blitzkrieg, Luftwaffe, Bismarck, D-Day, War in the Pacific, Midway, even Freedom in the Galaxy: The Star Rebellions 5764AD, etc.. I still have most of them too. :D

Hear, hear! Anyone from the Pacific Northwest, or just me?

I get the feeling that we have a lot of people from Europe on these forums, too, which is neat.

Within the Sci-Fi board game genre, that's one of my absolute all-time favorites.

I'm originally from British Columbia, does that count? To us Canadians it's just west, not northwest.

Currently in NYC though.

I think there is a new user out there called Ina -- but with this many middle aged guys on the board, I think the women-folk are a little afraid of coming on this forum...

Im pretty sure there are ladies out there like strategy games, maybe too shy to come out to express themselves. Like you said, could be too many trekkies here.

I always had a hard time finding other players. So it's still in good shape for being bought back in the mid '80s. So I had to wait till my oldest child could understand the rules.
