Status: offline 		I see that there are many Let's Plays on Youtube featuring Distant World and the expansions. In fact there appear to be 3 running currently with are for Legends.

I'm a new player and just purchased Legends as well and I'm looking for a good Let's Play to learn the game. I've found Let's Plays to be an invaluable way to learn many many other games. But they do require one with a slow pace and a commentator who is very descriptive.

Any suggestions?

Status: offline 		I would recommend the Let's Play series by Das123. Start with the RotS one. While not discussing the new Legends feaures it does give you a great basic intro to the game.

Of course I do not want to neglect the work of other people. I just found the above Let's Play very helpful myself.

Status: offline 		Care to share what they are (ie links)? I have only ever found 2. One the guy's accent was too thick and his music was too loud. The other I found through this forum and it was good. What is the third, I wonder?

Status: offline 		DW got alot automation. Just let these automation on at your first game.
Just play a bit watch the AI how it control your empire.
When the AI is doing something you dont like you still can turn off this automation and do it manual.
At this way you should learn the basics of the game pretty fast. After you think you know the basics, start a new game and do it better.
