My units in the Crimea are not regenerating. There has been no combat there but the INF units stay at 2-1 rather than the 3-2 of INF units elsewhere on the map. They are all drawing supply from Sevastopol and are Level 2 INF

Because you are cut off from the main supply.

Check the unit icon and please re-read the manual on supply.

At one time this was in the manual I'm sure there still is a good explaination.

Sevestopol is cut off from the MSS (Main Supply Source). I think the only MSS is MOSCOW

I only asked because in my previous game I thought the Crimean units *were* regenerating. They were cut off in exactly the same manner as these units but they still seemed to regenerate. Unfortunately the only screen capture I have of those units has insufficient resolution to show their strength. I don't mind them not regenerating - your logic sounds good - but I'm curious why it apparently didn't happen last game. I do recall having a 15-6 ARM unit plus some 6-? INF sitting there in defense waiting for the assault that never came.

Because the AI had a land connection to Moscow or other MSS or created a supply convoy.

I was the USSR in that game and didn't create any convoy - reading manuals is not a prerequisite for running the army in the USSR ;)

If you hover your pointer over the effectiveness you will see what exactly is going on with the unit.
For me this is a supply issue but without knowing the levels, I'm not able to tell anything more.

Don't worry about it ... I don't recall enough of the old game to make comparisons.
