I hope all of the Lost Company have posted support tickets in the members forum. I posted mine when Joe suggested we complain. At least you too, can experience the status resolved message.

Of course wonders never cease they may give you a more reasonable answer than what I got. You do have to register, and it's not the same as being a registered forum member. Thanks, that is all, carry on.

Rutins posted yesterday in General/Plimus Down thread. I guess we aren't worthy customers.

I looked up the press release for boku, here's the first paragraph

The veteran developer will be teaming up with Matrix to bring a new line of wargames.

Matrix Games is excited to announce that they have reached a multi-game publishing agreement with Boku Strategy Games (www.bokustrategygames.com). This new partnership will see an enhanced re-release of both the Horse and Musket 2 Series and the Combat Command 2 series. [In addition, Tim Coakley of Double Shot Design will be working together with Boku Strategy Games in the design and development of the next un-announced game series being developed.

here's the link to the rest. http://www.matrixgames.com/news.asp?nid=393

this was from 2007, wonder if there still working on that new series of games, the boku link just leads to matrix site.

Is this game and the horse& musket the only boku games here? the horse&musket forum is absent of any developers as far as i can see.

The preceding is just another shameless bump, thinly disguised as informational content. Carry On

I don't know if some of you noticed, but Max 86 did in the General forum. Interesting very interesting.

Post for the day take it away.

I don't get the ignore us attitude. Did I miss something through all of this thread, where we were vicious and impolite in our demands for a response?

Boku did the War Engine (I think), which has been free for a while. It was a great concept, but maybe a lack of polish. I can't remember...

Inspired by sabre1 new signature (which doesn't seem to have come up in the above posts) I've created this, with apologies to the XV Brigada Internacional

Now I just have to figure out how to add it to my signature. Seem to have figured it out.

That is really nice Wolfe, and we should all use it in our signatures until our bones rot, because I have a feeling that is when we are going to get an answer. But I never quit, and I have already used that tag line in other fourms now.

Anyone (in gen forum) that tells us/me to stop complaining and doesn't own the game can go pound sand.

Am I missing something? I know it's not my deodorant.

Have you guys sent in support tickets? If so any replies?

My signature doesnt' show up except in new posts.

BTW for me personally, no new Matrix purchases until someone "official" tells us good, bad, or ugly, but tell us something. That's going to hurt, cuz I love this hobby, and loved Matrix, but principles are principles. I posted it here so I would stick to my promise.

What happened to Slitherine? They said they would get back to us. NOTHING.

So conspiracy theory #1000, Boku wants more money to patch the game. (it always boils down to money)

So Wolfe can we use a sig that big in our posts? I'm not that good with computers.

Nope haven't been drinking, cuz I don't drink.

OK guys, I posted a topic in the News section of Slitherine's forums, I'm also going to start a topic in Armchairgeneral, and Wargamer. If any of you have a list of sites to post on email me.

Check in at Slitherine, and keep it bumped to the top. Just to remind you, Matrix and Slitherine won the 2011 Take Charge Award. Fascinating don't you think?

I think a poster in the genral forum got my ire up.

If you feel I'm over the top, just rein me in and I will tone it down. I don't care about the game, it's the customer service that is so bothersome. If you had a store clerk or manager in front of you, they would tell you something, they could not just ignore you. Hmmm idea, OWS (occupy wall street) Matrix this summer. (kidding, just kidding)

personally i think posting in all those forums would be over the top. Containing it to this forum and the general forum seems like the right way to approach this to me. If Boku had a forum posting there would also be appropriate to me, but those other forums don't really have much to do with it. Free country though, do as you like, this is just my opinion. I will keep bumping the threads here.

Well, if Boku wanted more money from this game I think they would fix it. I think they would sell some more copies with a working game.

I think this forum and the General one is fine. I would say if no answer by the end of January we could post in the War Gamer or Arm Chair forums.

All we want is a fixed game. I don't think asking for a patch is too much considering that I paid for a working game.
Yes....Matrix did some work on the game but basically it's two old games for this release. It's not like its a whole
new game they wrote.

This should be a no brainer fix and shouldn't cost them very much dev time or money to fix it.

Well can't say i know what's going on, but i kind of doubt Erik is intentionally ignoring us. To many times over the years i've seen the way he handles customer concerns to believe he is ignoring us now. He's earned his pass and our patience in this my matter in my opinion. The developers, now thats a different story, maybe nobody has contact with them, who the hell knows. This is no way to support your product to be sure, and since it's under the matrix banner i'm sure sooner or later we will hear from Erik in this matter. I guess obsolete has moved on, he was stumping the game pretty hard and is the mod, but again how much could he help....who knows...I guess thats our point, someone should know something and communicate it to us, looks like horse&musket aren't getting any more contact from the developers than this forum, i watch to see if anyone of note pops in. I guess we post , wait, and play our backlog of games until we hear something. I myself am knee deep into battle academy. Patience people all shall be made clear, shortly [crosses fingers ]

By the way Joe ever divulge his secret?

Wolfe dl your sig, now what do I do with it.

I've done it all by trial and error (first time I've ever used Paint or put an image in a sig) so there may be better ways of doing it but try this and see what happens.

In My Profile in the Signature text box try pasting the following between [image] and [/image] before and after the string of text

local://upfiles/27984/066031043D044C06ADB708F6051B4350.jpg

or try this

http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/upfiles/27984/066031043D044C06ADB708F6051B4350.jpg

This is the original flag I based it on

If we ever get withdrawals working I might be tempted to create a couple of Spanish Civil War scenarios.

I think sigs and changes to sigs only apply from the point you started to include them in your posts.

So when I changed my sig it changed all the prior posts where I had a sig but if I didn't originally have a sig in a post then there was nothing to change and therefore no new sig would appear.

Well I have tried every which way to Sunday, and obviously I am as dense as I think I am (stubborn too). I can't seem to get you picture in my posts, but I sure do like it.

BTW, if Matrix does answer. We are all going to get really bored again.

You know actually playing the game. (kidding, just kidding)

Try this (although again I really don't know what I am talking about)

Post the flag image in your next post (save it to desktop then browse desktop to find it when you choose to embed image in post (using post reply rather than fast reply))

Right click on it and select copy image URL from your post

In My Profile where you currently have the text for your signature paste this URL then add in at the begining and end of the URL [image] and [/image]

Click on apply at the bottom of the My Profile screen

See if it works
