Why some of my air crews moral on aircraft carrier is so low (around 36)! We are in June 43.

Thx

Give em some days rest. Constant flying, lost planes and lack of icecream reduces moral. Squadron leaders with high inspiration help.

They probably have low morals because they didn't go to Sunday School when they were kids. Try a leader with a high "ecclesiatical" rating.

Since when you saw combat pilot with morals? Especially during WW II.... I think they might have forgotten to suck pure oxygen after night of drinking...apparently common sight in Guadalcanal having pilots sitting in their planes in morning with oxygen mask on...

If you actually want a real answer to your question, you might try posting it again... One thing I've found is when you put your pilots on "patrol" without any breaks (such as asw) over time their morale seems to dip... that could be a contributing factor. But as obliquely suggested above, there are many other things that could go into the mix. Hal

Check the leaders. Any CAP over 40% combined with extensive operations -excort and such will wear them down.

The moral of the story is that all work and no sleep-makes the pilot weep.....
