ORIGINAL: elmo3 These patchs are fine tuning, not major system changes, so there is no reason you can't just continue current games. Sorry, I don't think you know what you are talking about, and don't tell me about patches, because I know all about them--this game has been going since version 1.0, and has continued through all of the patches. In this case, supposedly keeping HQs from being overloaded is one of the most important aspects of the game, and now my entire army consists of dozens of army HQs with 27-30 CPs, when the new CP cap is 18. I'd call that a major change, which would take me the rest of the war to fix. I kept playing after they nerfed the 1:1->2:1 rule, which was also not exactly "fine tuning", although that nerf came just as I was starting an offensive against massive German forts which meant that I had to wait about six more months to build up my army to attack. No problem... Now this...I'm not even complaining about the substance of the patches, I don't really care that much either way, but the way that they are introduced is simply unacceptable--the devs obviously don't care about the time players have invested into ongoing games. This change has obviously been in the works for months, and yet they did not bother to tell players what might be coming down the pike, so that they would not increase the size of their armies, as I have been doing. Just completely unacceptable in my view, I'm not a freaking beta tester that expects to restart games everytime a new patch comes in.
