I swear the AI had no planes here the turn before..
15km bombardment.. no escort bombard.

The AI KNEW Saipan was going to be bombarded. That is why it moved in all the planes. Quite clever, in a fashion. It was the execution that was a bit off.


It would probably be possible to get the AI to move 10 divisions to Paramashiro Jima just by changing the prep destination for restrictued units in Calfironia.

What I forgot to say is this is the 2nd bombardment... the first one from 1-2turns ago there were no planes on the island.
So yeah Cap Mandrake... I think you are right.
