New long range route

TL-Lines has opened a new route, flying Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) to London Heatrow (LHR).

I got SNCM totally toasted. He is making no money at all. Pacific Air is already being mobbed by other airlines. Bog O Nuts will fold soon......and he has 9 747-100 too (drool). Norwegian is toast. I could not really find any routes for the Russian, so he is basically toast. He should be folding any day now.

The US guy....Mad Cap, I have not checked on and have not heard. I think we got this one. I was just trying to get a jump on airlines going belly up. Hate suddenly having 500 pax routes open up right in my HQ base and some one else grabs it.

Easy now, go pick on Mad cap in the US. We targeted these because they are almost belly up anyway. Just thought we would help them along. Just be careful trying to tangle with German Wings......that is a big dog.

I wouldn't mind seeing him go, but he is pretty big.

Lets work taking out the smaller fish before we go for Moby Dick (or in this case, "Shamrock Dick") ;-)

Hehe yeah he was alot bigger than I thought. No wonder he keeps popping up at my routes
Been given a new objective by 2ndACR, so working on the target given by him.

Siebenburgen Air

Current Long routes

HND-LAX

BKI-DME

NBO-CSX

HND-CPH

DME-ATL

HND-ARN

HND-AUH

HND-YYC

HND-SHJ

BKI-CHC

NBO-HAN

HND-MCT

Only have 2 747-200B's right now (with more on order) So I am having to go with partially loaded planes on some routes to make them reach.

Future Plans

None noted but constantly looking for opportunities.

NOTE: I did run across one airlines (World Airways) that will throw ONE flight a week on a route (and I think somehow he thinks this is a "placeholder" for future expansion). After being patient, even throwing a courtesy note his way, I added my own flights to cover the gap. Some of these routes were smaller (150 Pass x day) but others were over 400. If you run across him doing this on any routes, I encourage you all to do the same.

The passengers DESERVE service, and service I shall provide!

He showed up on one of my routes one day and had undercut my ticket price. I said nothing, but have simply dropped my rates to match his and recover part of my passengers. Done this at least three times. Since he is so big, I have decided NOT to undercut his ticket price, but I am stubborn and will continue to drop my prices to match his until I turn blue in the face.

Yeah, let's not make Eire mad yet.......I don't think all of us together could take him. LOL

He buys planes in 50 and 100 batch. He has cash to burn and then some. Put it this way, I have already tangled with him in a price war over a route, still going to this day. I am losing 5,000 per day using prop planes on a 300 mile route, he is using a 707-320B.......this has been going for at least 2 years now. If I am losing money, I know he is losing money big time and my planes are full and then some.

I agree we should not go looking to take on Shamrock Shake in a battle.

I am just standing my ground. Besides, I am still making over $50,000/day on that particular route so I think that there is plenty of breathing room to go.

Operation Texas Rose failed, for the moment.

Threw every Super VC-10 I had available into it, barely covered half the demand and was in the red $305,000 per day.

My next 747 delivery is a month away......

I see in the airline rankings that 4 of us are clumped together; ranked 72, 74, 75 & 76.

WHere does our alliance rank?

Full of Air battle plan:

Buy 747-200B/C to replace uncontested Yukon flights.
Yukons will be reassigned to other uncontested routes or start competing in some key markets.
Some 737-200Adv are also on order.  They replaced my DC-9's and & 737-200s.

Not really in a fighting mood.  A lot of money is yet to be made from MNL and CRK airports.

You're right, there are still unoccupied routes to be found and exploited. It takes alot of searching. Some may not be huge money makers, but they provide steady income. And if they are smaller sized, they will also draw less scrutiny from others.

Those steady income earners help provide the money you need to go after the bigger, more lucrative routes.

Heresy I say, Heresy........replacing the DC9 family. Those are great for short range routes up to 1000 miles. Be careful of the early 737J family. They sort of dead end. Not compatible with the later 737 family, so new base maint cost. DC9 family lasts till game end and the MD family is also DC9 base cost.

Now for Med range up to 1800 range, the Trident 3B is the best a/c for this range. Beats the 727-200 overall.

Long range up to 4000 miles, nothing beats the CL44 profit wise. But if you have 10,000 runways on both ends, the TU144 is now a favorite of mine. That puppy is really nice, but that long runway makes it a pain to deploy sometimes.

Here are the results or our recent mobilization to stamp out a few airlines.

The Russian will be gone very very soon. Has no a/c worth mentioning to the alliance except a small fleet of TU114.

SNMC is basically destroyed, down to 4 active routes, demise certain.

Pardus Air.......Down to 3 active routes shown on route map.....certain doom.....a/c to watch for.....7 Boeing 747-100

Pacific Air.......Still trying to survive, certain doom........a/c to watch for......43 CL44

Bag O Nuts........all but gone........a/c to watch for......7 Boeing 747-100

All in all, the offensive operations were a success, new routes were secured, enemies driven ground to dust. All member alliances are advised to be watching the used market closely at the turn of every day for the noted a/c. The repo an will cometh and deliver unto us a great bounty.

Also, check your routes and be prepared to scale back flight ops against mentioned airlines to profitable levels.

Great job, I have extra vouchers for a free taco for everyone.

Update......Bag O Nuts is no more.......he dumped 7 Boeing 747-100 on the market and Air France scooped them up.

Madrid to DFW is now fully filled with 747-100.

Skimming through this thread, I had a temporary heart attack seeing plans to take out MadCap Air... Of course I'm playing a different game in a different era, so I feel better. Please remove him as he's besmirched my good (airline) name. Good luck gents.

He died a violent death......along with many others. The battles continue and we are sucking the used plane market dry of anything with wings and some range. I have spent the last 2 hours working on just 2 danged airports and they still have routes with 300 pax on them. I have not even had time to go thru my home country and see what routes freed up with all the dust still in the air.

I have tossed away trying to minimize my a/c types and am just spending millions leasing from the used pool and slapping 4-6 2500 mile 100 pax planes on there to fill out the routes. Cannot allow freebies, if they want it, they will ahve to fight for it.

TL-Lines update

TL-Lines took some fire from Eire Air, and decided to shut down those three routes instead of trying to fight it out. The planes have been redirected to new routes, and the financial impact is minor.

Daily Operating Profit is now 21.000.000$.
Our Airline is ranked as #71 in the world.
Destinations flown to : 67
Daily passengers : 79.533
Daily flights : 478
Daily distance flown : 966.838 miles.
Fleet size : 123, of which 96 are owned, 27 are leased, and we have orders for another 20.

Established HND-PHX

Unfortunately, at the moment, only have cavity to run 1 747 wk on it. My next 747 is not until March.

Future routes:

HND-JFK
HND-LAS

Come on Boeing....put another shift on and crank those 747's out faster!

Update......Air France

Enemy airlines are invading my dominated routes........hours spent redirecting a/c to deal with these incursion of our territory. Boeing seems to be taking it's own sweet time on my 747-200 orders. I have issued them a response that since they seem to be taking their own sweet time, I will be ordering Airbus also instead of being a Boeing primary user. Let's see if that wakes them up.

Ranking........#26 in the world
Value........17,652,000,000
Fleet........931 484 owned & 447 leased hundreds on order.
Destinations......311
Daily flights......5,384
Daily Pax.......619,260
Daily Miles......5,703,854
Daily Profit......117 mil
Cash On Hand.......5 billion

I, parusski Steiner, have ceded control of Crash & Burn Air to 2ndACR. Due to current time constraints I am no longer able to function as CEO. I hope 2ndACR wisely uses my $2 billion in cash.

Good luck sir.
