Do land units get replenished when in supply? Here's the situation...2nd USMC division fought on Kwajalein for a while. While ultimately victorious, their assault value is considerably diminished. I've got them sitting in Pearl Harbor now. Should I expect them to gradually build up or is there something I need to do?

Thanks.

Is the unit set to accept replacements?  Does the base have adequate supply?

The more units pulling replacements from the pool the slower a unit will take to complete reaching it's full complement.

I actually haven't been tracking it closely; it's only been at PH a few days. I did dig through the manual and found this:

quote:

Bases that have supplies that exceed double their supply requirements may use the excess over double needs to provide replacements (as long as the ground unit has the Accept Replacements selection made on its Ground Unit Information screen).

I'll assume that "provide replacements" equates to "eventually gets back up to full strength." One good thing about the game is that things that make sense often work...take the exhausted, depleted unit off the front, put it somewhere with supplies (and no malaria, ideally), and it'll get better.

Thanks.
