I had an ongoing SCEN 1 PBEM which i took over in 1/43 with 5 allied carriers sunk and china lost. So i deliberately searched challenge. Game went on for 18 months with around a turn a day but my opponent decided to surrender a little bit premature in 11/44. We had a turn 99% of all days with only some small exceptions (holidays, Christmas).

We can play any scenario (except some fantasy stuff or iron man stuff). I would prefer
Scen2 or Relucant Admiral or one of the Babes Scenarios. Why not Scen1 ? Basically as allied i enjoy the early game and the late game most. And i had the experience in my current game that Scen1 is pretty hard to defend late war and my last opponent did not really enjoy it.

So what do i search ?

A dedicated and experienced Japanese game partner who is willing to fight a war which will last until the bitter end. There should be a turn a day as a regular rule. More is a possibility but it cannot be required so if it happens it is good, if not it should never be a problem.

HRs can be discussed and should deal with the most common problems like Strato sweeps, to much 4E power, dot invasions, border crossing PP, Day 1 rules (multistrikes, TF creation), R&D, leaky CAP and so on. I tend to have my HRs flexible so they can be extended if something wonky happens. The game should not be a battle of engine exploitation.

I have quite a lot of mid and latewar experience as i started my game in 1/43 in a pretty bad situation (Supply system/Training/Land War/Naval War/Invasions/Base suppression/...). Early war experience is not that big but i think i will be able to handle it quite well.
Setup of the game might be a little bit slower (first turn as there are a lot of decisions to take).

Primary goal for me is to have fun and a challenge on a regular basis.

Just to clarify. Related to the point "ongoing game". I do not search someone to take a game over, instead if someone has a
running game i have no problem to take over if the allied player has stopped. Even if the allied are in a very bad position.

It depends on the position and the time, but the game should be still playable. all allied carriers sunk up to 1/43 / China gone / India gone /Australia gone is ok for me. If it is still possible to avoid auto victory it is ok for me.
