It looks like I won't be able to save my troops marching from Batumi to Tbilisi.

Without reinforcements offensive any meaningful offensive in Stalingrad region will be impossible.

Yet another crushing defeat - troops near Tbilisi are doomed.

More units were transferred into Stalingrad area, but still not enough to make any impact.

I managed to patch up front and it should hold for a turn or two. (I wonder how many times I have said it)

Thanks to superior tactical skill of comrade Lelyushenko (62A) defensive positions were not breached and another tragedy was averted.

Saper's units are approaching Astrakhan. I might have to recall units from north to strengthen my defences if he is coming in force.

Trouble is, you're all but out of defensible terrain around Baku save the rough hex 2 west of the city and little in the way of forts and quality units.

Panzers finally appeared near Stalingrad and kindly reminded my who is the boss here.

I think his withdrawal in the south is a trap.

It seems that units approaching Astrakhan are non-combatant formations of "Italian hex converting Army"

New units - none

I am building new front.

Half of newly formed formations were assembled north-east of Moscow. They will undertake offensive against German regiments in forested area north of Kalinin. If everything goes well it should create half-decent fighting force for summer operations.

I am showing whole souther part of front to illustrate true state of Red Army, true state that do not give reason to be optimistic.

Apart from Italians roaming steppe west of Astrakhan Saper is active only near Baku.

This time good news. Enemy was stopped and if I will get through next turn or two I should be safe here.

One more attack.

Maintaining that speed I will get to Berlin around 3000 AD.
