It is the rifle corps and the artillery division that are going to win the war for you, not the mobile forces, by relentlessly beating the Whermacht into a pulp.

I tend to think You are right (it is late '43, I need to catch up with AAR). I got a bit overexcited with increasing size of mobile forces because I was afraid that density of my troops was not high enough to protect me from German penetration.

43 is a static yr for GHC or should be. Sapper is not really that dugin unless he is building a 43/44 winter line back a hundred miles.

There are several 90 hex fronts the GHC can defend before the rivers.

Allots going to depend on the manpower crunch.

I could be wrong but looking at past AAR's SHC needs to keep OOB around 7 million or it cant reaaly put that much presser on GHC.

key number for GHC is 2.6 million, if they were able to build morale during 42 of which GHC did.

The panzer #s are basicly meaningless, GHC has more then enough equipment to keep them active the hole war. The numbers fall. but during mud seasons panzer unit CV bounces back to close to max by the next season.

At this point GHC needs to have about 60 divisions in static/3 to 5 hexes of forts/ a 2nd fort line being built back to west more/ use reserve mode and simply keep lines static from north to Stalingrad.

Kamil has more exp from 43-45 so I expect he will be doing everything right and Sapper will be feeling things out.

I do not have energy at the moment to continue with AAR, but struggle continues.

Second turn of intensive fighting. Last turn my advancing mobile units were encircled, I managed to open pocket, but it was resealed again.

Pocket is breakable.

If someone wants to continue this game and Saper agrees I am happy to give away save and password.

Almost impossible distance to cover in time, with all the mud turns 22 I beleive before the end of game unless Sapper does a major screw up.

He should easly be able to hold the major river line during summer of 44, again slowing down SHC advance.

Strong OOB and hes not using reserve mode yet or near a fort belt line.

Be hard to even get a draw.

I agree. Looks like German minor victory to me.

You have some very good units(but not enough) and Sappers defence is poor at best.

I beleive unless Sapper changes over to a reserve mode / fort belt defence a draw is 100% likely.

You have +42 exp and from this AAR Sapper has zip. Sappers still depending on counter attacks with no forts other then front line forts.

I argee with you it should be a minor win, but more then likely a draw based on Sappers play style so far.

M60 went from as sure Minor lose to a very easy major victory, because the GHC player had zip for post 42 exp. M60 learned the hard way and once his enemy gave him an opening he crushed him.

I have 244 VP on 140T. Very interesting, how Kamil can take many key location. In 1943-1944 he take only 3 key location. My panzer and SS divisions is the best, fort 3-4 levels, AP - 598000, Manpower - 966000, I make "strategic" defence - I think, will be Axis Major Victory.
Very nice AAR Kamil!!! Thank you for play. I think, you must play more active aviation.
