Buy now, I have lots offun already. And nextpatch will come soon anyway. I have a campaign running with a long time ww2 player. We defenatly got a renesance playing it doing many turns a day even when we should focus on more sleep to cope with work. Just like we did when we where younger.

You may buy it now : this game has some little/minor imperfections, as all others games (Strategic Command 1, Commander Europe at war had their own little/minor imperfections). But ToF is really a excellent and good game, I can not pass a day without to play with. I played Clash of steel, Third Reich Pc, Strategic Command1, Strategic Command 2 (abandonned due to the horrible squares in place of hex), CEAW : ToF is the best of all. As player and modder, probably the game I had dream for.

Well, dang! I waited to answer this thread, hoping others would. Glad to see you guys are having as much fun with this game as I have. And Welk, your experience practically mirrors my perfectly (except I don't mod much).

Buy now!

I would say if you are looking for a 'fully finished' product you may want to wait. On the other hand Matrix/Wasteland (Between Matrix Slitherine and Wasteland its hard to tell who does what...) is actively improving the product and if you buy it now you will receive the upgrades as patches when they are available. I for one have got my 'moneys worth' already. The first patch took off a lot of the rough edges and the second one promises significant further improvement.
