To anyone who knows...
The new patch seems to have very little 'fanfare' associated with its release. I have a couple of questions.
1) Will installing the patch affect any mods done to areas such as TOE and leaders?
2) If #1 is 'yes, it writes over'...is it possible to copy the TOE files and leader files, install the update, and then paste the files into it? Will this allow the benefits of patched items, without affecting ongoing games then?

There is no "fanfare" because this new patch is "just" a way to make "BETA" WitE v1.06.6 into "Official" WitE v1.06.6 - thus nothing new was added...


As for custom data modifications - the started games, as always, will never benefit from data changes - only newly started games benefit from data changes!

The EXE benefits (i.e. new rules and bugfixes) are immediate when you install the patch...

The old ongoing games will retain the modified data - new games will have data brought in with latest installed patch...
