I made up a separate folder of "downloaded scenarios" and put all the ones I download into that folder.

EDIT: That is, the folder is in the "scenarios" folder

After unzipping the file, the folder with all the graphic files should be placed in your "graphics" or "altgraphics" folder within TOAW. You will know if you have done it wrong, as it will inform you that you are playing with a wrong equipment file when opening the scenario (and half your units are in funky colors).

The .sce, .bmp and .pdf can really be place whereever you like. Just make sure you remember where so you can locate them when you browse for the scenario within TOAW.

Thank you.

Even if the main version has now been released, it will still be interesting and informative to hear peoples experiences with the scenario.
That'll help when I at some point get around to updating it.

I've sent the newest version to Rugged Defense for upload, but haven't heard anything for nearly a month. I'll put up the latest version here until it gets added to RD.

The scenario jumps from v1.0 to v1.2 as there was a "limited edition" added inbetween.

Operation Neva Version 1.2

quote:

Changes in v1.2:

Changed the requirements for Soviet Overwhelming Victory from 12 to 13 objectives.
Corrected radius of objectives in Estonia to a single hex.
Corrected road at hex 21,43 and 105,138.
Separated the two types of Reiter Squads in the Replacements Schedule table.
Added event loops to allow OKH to recapture objectives.
Removed News from other theaters of operation to free up events for this.
Krasnogvardeisk and Novgorod are 25% supply sources for first 30-40 turns.
Lowered Night Combat Proficiencies by 5% for both sides.
Halved the effectiveness of air units during PM-turns (in addition to normal penalty).

quote:

Changes in v1.1:

Changes and new sections of text added to this briefing since v1.0 are shown in blue.
Added TO to allow dismantling eastern coastal batteries
Added TO for Soviets to allow airborne operations
Added events to clean up unnecessary activation TOs for II, X, XXVI and XXVIII
Corrected deployment of 20.SS Gr.Div (It sometimes arrived mobile)
Added horses to Soviet Ski-bns to improve mobility
Corrected road at hex 151,84, 136,87, 105,38, and Izborsk.

Each Partisan Brigade now has a single reconstituting partisan battalion.
Corrected triggering of event 814 for increased replacements for Soviet PO.
Lowered VVS proficiency slightly.
Renamed Soviet Off-map RR unit to KALININ FRONT. It starts further west.
Clarified the house rules for the Off-map.
Added Volosovo, Siverskaya and Batetskaia as objective towns.
Removed Aluksne as objective town.
Changed the requirements for objectives from 3 to 5 before turn 50.
