Map goes black and trees remain displayed above units.

System:

Win 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit
Intel i7-2600 10gb RAM
AMD Radeon HD 6850 1024mb

CoH Video Settings:

Desktop Resolution
Shader: Simple
Overlay Txtr Size: 2048
Scene Density: 1
Bloom: No
Max. Ani: 16
MultiS: 4
Show Hexes
Simpler Water: No
LOS Overlay: Normal

Were you having this issue with earlier versions? There is a known issue with V1.4 that causes this on certain firefights. With which firefight are you seeing this?

Had this issue with both V1.3 and 1.4.

It was with the Farm firefight. Didn't even think to try a different firefight so can't tell you if it is ok on others. I did try toggling all the video settings which made no difference.

This should be fixed in V1.5. Please let me know if you're still having this problem with the new patch.

It's closer. The terrain is no longer all black. Water hexes even if in line of sight are darkened. Trees and buildings still display on top of units. Have only checked on Farm and Crossfire firefights.

1.5 beta has resolved the map display issues, for me at least.

V 1.5 non-beta still puts trees/buildings on top of units for me.
When I mouse over them they display on top...

Have you set the preference to display units always atop terrain?

Yes, show units on top is checked.

The terrain going black is fixed but the units are still under the trees/buildings as in the last screen shot I posted 3 posts above or so from the 1.5 beta.

I mentioned the mouse over working as I thought you might be able to spot a difference in code between that and the "show units above terrain" switch that results in it not working in the latter case.
