Oh, what fun it is to hide

Dashing through the snow *
In a lousy Opel truck ,
O'er the fields we go,
I guess we’re out of luck.
Tracks on tanks we hear,
Exhausts are glowing bright.
We’re gonna run all the way to the Don
Ivan’s kicking our *ss tonight.

Dodging tracer rounds, ***
On the Eastern Front today.
Over the Steppes we go,
Freezing all the way.
Communist snipers plink,
giving me such a fright.
Looking out through the snow,
Wishing my camo was white.

Russia’s hell, mortar shells, *
My ammo’s getting low ,
The end I fear, is very near,
To the Gulag I must go. Hey!

For listening to a corporal
I guess I’ll wind up dead.

They said to guard the flank, **
keep the KV's at bay
in my dinky semi-tank
and 'Saturn' starts today.
Wow! that shot was close,
their arty starts to drop,
its times like this I really
wish my Marder had a top.

Our Panzers will not start, *
My engine oil just froze.
Adolph, it's so cold out here
Mein Gott, I've lost my toes.

To the Kremlin in just weeks.

Breaking thru their lines, **
we've overrun Vyazma, (1)
someone tell supply,
to send bullets and plasma. (1)
My AC's out in front,
but bogged down in a fen,
Why didn't Matrix give my
MG34 some 'PEN'?

To the Western Front I've gone, *
for a little R & R.
The Tommies they came over at night
and bombed my favorite bar.
So back out East I go,
to the Russian Front once more,
At least this time, I've got a toy
My MP44. Ho!
