Hi,

I have a silly question regarding installation order. I have Distant Worlds and also Return of the Shakturi, and I don't know exactly in what order to install them, considering the patches.

For example, Distant Words has the following patches: v104, v1049, v1060, v1070, and v1071. However, Return of the Shakturi has the following ones: v1051Beta1, v1501, and v1508. So I gather that Return of the Shakturi should be a lower version than its v1051Beta1 patch.

So, when I install DW, should I patch it to v1071, and then install Shakturi and its patches, or should I only patch it to v1049? Any suggestions appreciated.

Install game then install latest addon.

So:
DW > 1060 patch > RotS > 1508 > Legends > 1716

Are you sure you need the distant world patches? RotS patches should include the base game patches as well?

Those intermiate patches are not needed during installation. You would install Distant Worlds(original), then Return of the Shakturi, and then the patch v1508. All prevent patch versions are combined into the latest patch.
