Getting an error code 200 when I attempt to run the game. "Serial number is incorrect"
I've added the latest patch and verified my serial number on the website is the same I inputed into the game.
Any ideas?

Ideas ? (Besides the usual support-desk-guff ?)

Well, I checked my main TOAW 3.4 directory (I made loads of copies of betas as they rolled out). In the main dir, along with opart 3.exe and all the language dll's, I have TWO serial reg text files -
serialreg lists the serial number for 3.2.29.27
and
serial.reg lists the same serial number for 3.4.0.202

To me, they look the same except for the version number. Do you have both in your directory ? (I do not know if you need both, but I'm guessing with an upgrade, the 'dot' version is added.) If you have only one, maybe try cloning the missing piece -- it's the same block of text, just the different version, and the different name. Shutting the PC down, and bring it up and trying again.

HTH or at least rules out this as the problem.

No luck. I had both. Tried it with just one or the other file. Same error.
Problem for me is I bought TOAW III when it first came out as a hard copy, but I can't find the CD and I can't find/not available as a digital download,
So I guess I'll just have to repurchase it; so I can reinstall it.

For fresh reload, Download the Versions in order and load them in order from :
http://www.matrixgames.com/products/317/downloads/

I don't know if I had error 200, but I seem to remember having issues and used the above note to solve them. I would imagine that even if you had the disc, you can still do a digital download. Just guessing though, not sure.

I'll just add what I always do for these sorts of questions: They're not really TOAW questions. Rather, they're Matrix questions. As such, you may have better luck asking about them on the main troubleshooting forum.
