Welcome btbw, and thanks for your input!!
Great minds think alike.

That is exactly what I am doing at the moment, re post: http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/fb.asp?m=3208270

In the screenshot below you can see Loyang is completely surrounded and has been cut off for weeks.
After Chengchow was captured, the defenders could only retreat into Loyang, so it has loads of trapped Chinese troops awaiting destruction at the hands of 1st and 11th Armies.

Hex 88,43 ( the one NW of Kaifeng that appears empty ) is not a retreat option for the Chinese, as it was closed to them by troops advancing into Loyang from it.

Bombed from the air, daily Artillery bombardments, rapidly running out of ammunition, medical supplies and food, these Chinese troops are doomed in the opinion of Army General Staff.

Like the format with the pics separating the reports. Very clear and looks great.

The Hurricanes are tough defenders. If you can get two sweeps to go in the same day you'll do much better during the second. The pools are not large so you can blow through them pretty quickly but you don't want to give the Dutch pilots experience and kills., or they'll be tough.

Thanks obvert.
I've started to use photobucket to store my pics, so this makes it easier to post multiple pictures.
Thanks also for the advice vis Hurricanes. I'll get on it.
