One more push and you would encircle and destroy 3,5 armies - I had to withdraw... That attack on Tula was painful, Bryansk and Western front armies are now struggling to adjust their defensive lines.

2.1 million loses for SHC is becoming normal now as most poeple run in south and train everything to north of Tula.
I have yet to see a single 1.06.13+ game where moscow has fallen and many Leningrad is holding.

This is the new normal for WITE. Its a cake walk for SHC to keep loses under 2.5 million and hold Moscow.

As I have stated and all my games are playing out this way(1.06.13) the keys are:

1. GHC morale
2. Manpower centers
3. SHC AP crunch

1941 is almost meaningless for GHC at this point other then farming morale.

Please remember that it's my first game against a human opponent, and my first as Soviet so I'm at times overwhelmed by the task at hand and may play a different game to long-time veterans. I play for fun, mainly.

At least I learned something from killing Zhukov on turn 1, and now I have properly evacuated Rokossovsky from the Rzhev debacle, replacing him with some 2-4 general and only _then_ relocating the army, while there was still time. Rokossovsky is now taking stock of his brand new, Shock Army HQ :)

Wait, I didn't see any active partisans. Last time I checked, the best of them reached 60% TOE. Am I supposed to do something with them, or do they work automatically, like the RR units? How do I know a partisan is now active? Also, there is nothing in the log that my VVS bombers help the partisans...

you can see them with my attacks and your supply mission to them
to supply them you must have TRS or BMB on night mission during interphase IA will work for you
you can not make anything with them
they begin as Partisan Cadre (PC) on map before becoming P (as active); at this time they can activate but become visible for me (and target)

An active partisan has only the letter "P" in it, not "PC". As long as you have transports/bombers flying supply to them, the VVs will help the partisans, but I have yet to see alot of them in -41.

Yeah, I have found out on F11 that my bombers fly those supplies, as well as some attacks by the partisans, so all is well in that department. Now I'm dealing with 50 000+ men in support units that tried to hide from war in Ural HQ. Why would they need 7 RR construction brigades there?! Damn those automated SU assignments, no more of them, thank you :-)

The best thing you can do there is to set the support level to 0, and at least the units that are not construction or sapper won't stick there.

The RR units were moved for free as well due to M.D. special rule. However, I used the support level 0 thing to move support units out of 7th Indepentent Army. I still don't get it - does it cost 1 AP to assign SU from Stavka to subordinate units (unlike on-map units)? So it's the same cost as building a new SU?
