Just finishing off a PBEM John Tiller Campaign Series West Front scenario of clearing the corridor - set on the last day of operation market garden. Just started playing a little of Theatre of War Kursk 1943 - a great game, tough ai that will track my tanks as soon as they can, though the system for requesting artillery and air strikes strikes me as odd, - so i have artillery on standby but i cant use it until i destroy a number russian forces already, - seems kind of backwards - apart from that a goood game.

Just picked up CC - Panthers in the Fog.

My first impression is that it's a big improvement. Movement seems a lot better. We'll see after a couple more scenarios.

Now that's a coincidence! I blew the dust off my copy of CEaW over the weekend and have been having fun playing GS 2.0. I still think CEaW is one of my all time favs.

As much as I loathe multi-player, I'm actually getting back into DayZ. I think it must be a little masochism on my part, because though I can't stand fanboy gamers screaming barely coherent English at other over static mics, it's still a blast to play. Although, I've learned that zombies in the game are indeed a sideshow, and the main threat has always been and will always be other players.

Two night ago I was walking near the woods (I think it was near Pusta) and a guy went racing up the road in a bus with a bunch of zombies chasing after him. On the direct chat I heard him ask if anyone wanted a ride. Not trusting him, I kept on running back for the woods to get clear of him and his zombie hoard. Well, he gets out, shoots me in the back, and gets back in his bus. Even though I died, just the whole scenario was so ridiculous I had to laugh. A homicidal bus driver being chased by zombies who likes to offer people rides, then gets out and shoots them. Comedy writers can't come up with stuff that silly.

Tiller's Overland Campaign and Pride of Nations.

Both PBEM.

Otherwise TF2 at an hour or so/night.

A bunch of Euro style boardgames, (mainly Le Havre, Through the Ages and Empire Builder) and Advanced Tactics Gold.

Managed to get to the top ranking on the server last night. Played one life for about 2 hours. Got 65 zombie kills and had some really good loot right up until the double kill/suicide I had with a player in the woods north of Electro.

Spent most of my kill time with a hatchet teaching walkers how to speak chopnese.

I finished Skyrim's main quest on the first game. I bought the DLC Dawnguard and it seems pretty buggy. The main quest line two quests in a row, bugged. I don't even feel like loading it right now. Kind of frustrating.

FOG, HPS's Pike and Musket and Ancient Wars titles
Also fiddling around with a modded game of Medieval TW 2 , attempting to play a solo hotseat game and using FOG to fight out the tactical battles!
