TF 335 is my carrier group off the coast from Sydney and I'm going to coast in a little bit closer and see if I can't get some port strikes in
before I have to RTB. Jim has some aircraft at Sydney and with my luck most of them are fighters.

Hirosaki/Aomori must be my number one hub for resources. That hub deals seemingly only w/ resources. I'll bet something like 75% of
all Japan's imported resources go through this hub. Would be a shame if Jim were to attack it and there be no back up nearby. Would
cause a major economic depression of sorts.

So um......Jim and I exchanged files and I watched the movie and here's some fresh combat results. But first, here's the day's losses:

I got some signals intelligence that Pearl Harbor was especially active and so I took a look around to see what we know now and was
surprised at the number of LBA Jim has at Pearl. That place is a fortress. I'd best stear clear of that place.....at least for a while.

There were at least a couple of night time raids on Darwin and each time this Allied Kingfisher popped up......I'm thinking Jim is using that
Kingfisher as his CAP. What can I infer from that? (1) Jim may be really low on fighters and this Kingfisher is all that was available at the
time or (2) my bombers were targeting that Kingfisher in bomb runs but missed each time or (3) I need to sweep Darwin now.

And there was a night naval bombardment of Cagayan again last night. Good results again. I have a bunch more of these missions to
run however because there's still 22K+ of them left. One bombardment per day times two months equals something good I'm guessing.

I'm thinking that these are the last sorties that need be flown by this carrier, so I'm going to stand down the bombers and head back to
Rabaul to refit and rearm etc. You know what.......I changed my mind. The carrier is still at 470 sorties or 56% left. That's enough to
bomb one more ship at Sydney. THEN head back.

Man, those Allied dudes at Cagayan can't seem to catch a break. Bombarded by the Jap navy at night and pummeled from the air by day
and it's only getting started for these guys.

And again Jim is doing the PBY bombers. I guess they can do recon while they are bombing and multi-task just as busy as beavers. I'm
not sure I'd use my PBY's that way if I were Allied but Jim is welcome to try something new. Maybe he'll catch a break and it'll work.

And then just north of Singapore the Allies attack at Kluong into the face of enemy fighter superiority and suffer a loss. I'm shocked.

There was a PB having a good day at Sampit. He expended all his ammo however, is now officially Winchester, and needs to vacate the
hex while he still might be able to, no ASW onboard now you see, and go somewhere to rearm etc. He was a good babysitter for this
base and allowed needed adjustments to be made to plans in the works. In other words, I have a TF carrying troops to Sampit and now
that I know there's a sub there I'll just double the escorts and proceed like I knew what I was doing.

And then Jim starts his drive north by the Japs doing a bombardment and loosing almost as many as the enemy. I've since turned off the
bombarding. I'm thinking of backing up into Mersing and holding out for a while. Maybe I can get some boats to come bombard if he
follows me.

Here's the conclusion of the Maladapted situation. The Allies have collected all their wounded and are escorting them out of the area
going NE at last sighting. D'oh. My carriers aren't here yet. He's going to get away. Rats.

TF 7 is transports taking the 14th Shipping Engineers to Bubble Drop. I figure that they would be entirely more helpful there than at
Kavieng.

Here's the situation around Port Moresby: I've got some supplies just offshore waiting for the surface fleet to arrive and that would be the
BB group just below the transports. They are going to follow the transports as everybody nears shore. I've got an AO proceeding
around the horn of the island to refuel everybody. This time there's surface ships to take the heat from the CD guns.

It appears like we have another situation developing around Canton Island. Jim has a TF headed right toward my combatants and I'm
pretty sure he knows what my TF's are like ( roughly ) and yet he's coming on. Which leads me to believe that he's either got some
heavy guns or he's bluffing. I'm going to back up, refuel, and let my search planes scope out the formation to see exactly what's in that
Allied TF.

And then there was some action in China and then there was a strike on Manila. I must say I find the casualty numbers lower than they
were yesterday. I wonder what changed?
