That it is getting rather quiet around here?

Practically no feedback from the devs on whats happening with the the new exp, no debates etc.

Surely it would be in there best interests to get everyone fired and talking about things?
Im that bored ive fired up Civ4 BTS and Kings Bounty AP+CW, dont want to start a new game of DW till the new shiny exp arrives
What is everyone else doing to fill the waiting space?

It's predictable.
Everyone is waiting so much for any info about expansion and they have gotten it. We said "It will be amazing!/1st day buying/Thanks for info" and relax.
As experience shows, in a few next months not a lot of info will be waiting for us. Maybe some screens. A lot of info appears only before release.

And, honestly, this addon bring nothing revolutionary into the game. Yes, it's interesting, but it's an evolutionary development of the game.
If devs announced something extraordinary (MULTIPLAYER!!! ) it would be a HUGE speculations.

The new game mode could be a revolutionary addition. Depends on how it's implemented...

I strongly suspect they're simply too busy working on the damn game to talk to us (which is fine by me).

I check the forums at least once every day, but rarely replies to anything. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one.

What is mod-able is known. The game right now is very stable. I guess people download content (that are still being uploaded on a regular basis), without comment (I was surprised how much my little graphic mods have been downloaded for instance), which I think is fine. Most debating going on is issues that have been debated many times before. The forum ain't dead, just quite, and I'm sure the devs are really busy.

I know it won't benefit me as I already own the game and all expansions but...
Drop the f'ing price, the game is over 2 years old, and still priced as a near-new release
Lower price would hopefully bring new faces in and make the community more active again

The one thing at the top of my list is that I wish that the UI was fixed. I thought by upgrading / building from an 1800 single core AMD with 512mb to a dual core with 4gig of memory on 32bit XP I would be hitting warp 6-7 at least, I still feel like im on impulse power with the way the screens update, midgame it gets to be a real game of waiting, reminds me of a firm I worked for moons ago, all there system was DOS, I could type the commands in so fast and knew the setup commands for printing orders etc so well I could do it and watch the PC on screen as the buffer caught up while I made a coffee

Im very interested in this new ground combat idea, never really seen one that worked really, GC 1+2 were ok'ish. Armada 2656(?) well less said the better, MOO2 was kind of fun.
No disrespect to you tabletop gamers on here but I just hope it isnt all 'Eastern Front when the snow fell back in WWII'

I could always start singing 'Tumbling Along with the Tumbling Tumbleweeds' if it would make you feel better.

Well except of course that I can't sing, which would probably just end up making you feel worse...
