Long time ago there were two graphics and sound modifications available on Fabio Prado's web page; first changing small arms hits graphics (more realistic than regulart "crosses"), second changing sound of MG-34 and 42 machine guns. Does anybody have them? Or know where to find them?

I may still have them but they caused my games to crash all the time for months until gmenfan told me about the problems they regularly caused gamers. Since I reinstalled the original files I haven't had a crash.

I can't vouch for the small arm graphic update but I can tell you the updated MG sounds caused many problems, and after a while they were finally removed from the website.

If you want to change some sounds without too much effort, just download any Combat Mission Demo and use some of their soundfiles... very easy and I hope legal...:)

I changed the sounds of some British weapons (Sten, Bren, Vickers)...

Strange, I've never had any problems with those files. I was playing SPWAW with those files for a .... year, or something like this. I have experience very, very few crashes during that time, not connected with changed graphics or sound.
