I edited the file Data\Scripts\factions.lua to change Russian, German, AH and Turkish colour schemes, this small mod is JSGME compatible.

File updated to v 1.2.0 beta, works with 1.30.

OK, I am a bit dense, which folder do I place this in, the path to scripts does not have a matching folder for units. Thank you

The file factions.lua goes in CTGW\Data\Scripts, if you do not use JSGME you must overwrite (backup it first) the original file.

Finally I can play with the two shades of gray on the same side! Will using this mod cause any problems in PBEM when playing against someone not using this mod?

Not at all! Anyway, I am not sure that I updated the mod to the v1.1.4 update, I will do a check...

When I try to use this mod on my XP machine versus the AI, the game always crashes while loading. I have not tried it yet on my Windows 7 machine.

I forgot to update the attachment above, please download it again, now it works with v. 1.1.4.

Looks like the beta patch will need its own mod too, colors reverted to the original after I installed the beta patch. (No crash this time however).

Nice work on the colors, as usual, JMass!

I'll come back to pester you when the latest update is finalized. Wouldn't be the first time I've done so on one of your WWI mods.

I am playing a pbem and I want to finish it before to install the patch (and to update my mod).

I think it would be a good idea to switch the Norwegian and Bulgarian colors to make it easier to differentiate between the Italians and Bulgarians. Norwegians are currently black.
