I was playing FF #1 Partisans using Persistent APs in beta patch v1.15. I saw two potential bugs with Group Actions.

1. I had two LMG34s using Group Firing and they exhausted their pooled APs. I then played a "Plus 1D6 AP" card and both LMG34s received 6 AP as expected since it was played with them still Group Selected (see screen capture, log display in the lower left). I proceeded to fire twice more leaving them with 2 APs left. I clicked off to use another unit and the remaining 2 APs were lost. My understanding of Persistent APs in this case, shouldn't the 2 unit kept the 2 APs? If it was Classic AP mode, I would expect this but with Persistent the APs shouldn't have been lost.

2. I had two LMG34s Group Selected and played a "Hasty Defense" card action (no screen capture since I didn't expect it to happen). I expected both LMGs to get Hasty Defense as the card should have be applied to the Group (my understanding of the rules). However only one LMG unit got it. Bug?

1. CAPs converted to APs (even via a card) are explicitly lost by members of a group when the group is deselected, even in Persistent AP mode. I think this is explicitly stated in the computer game rules, but if it isn't, it should be.

2. The computer program wasn't designed to allow cards to affect groups. After the game release we made some of the cards affect groups, but the cards that require manual targeting do not affect groups. We might be able to allow group actions with other cards in the future, but the program is working as designed, so it's not a bug properly speaking.

It is stated in the manual though I guess I never thought of Cards as CAPs

This might explain some of the problems that VR Ironfist and I were having in another thread about group actions

What Cards actaully require manual targetting - I would have thought +1D6 AP card would have needed manual targetting

One other thing - if you look at the +1D6 Card in the version 2 rules of AWB board game - group actions are not allowed with this card

Thanks for all the help
Jack
